Jesus is Greater than Fear.

I remember those moments when I walked into a room and all eyes were staring at me. The fear gripping at me. The fear of not being enough. The fear of being rejected. The fear of being hurt. The fear of being judged. The fear of uncertainty. The fear of failure. All of these thoughts attacking my mind. I was being paralyzed by fear. Will I ever be able to overcome fear? I would belittle myself. I told myself that fear was just part of who I was. The interesting thing about fear is that it does not have an age limit, race, or a preference. It attacks anyone. Fear is the one thing that stops many people to be who God created them to be. The enemy uses fear to convince people that they will never amount to anything. Fear limits you. Fear causes you to struggle with what you believe in. Fear draws your focus on the what ifs, how can it be, will it ever? Fear is a spirit that brings torment. Yes, fear is a spirit. The Bible says in 2 Timothy 1:7, that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. The only way to overcome the spirit of fear is to replace it with the spirit of faith. How do we build our faith? The Bible also says in Romans 10:17, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God". The reason why we fear many things is due to the lack of the Word of God in us. The more of the Word of God we have, the more faith we will have. Fear brings many questions. Faith brings strong conviction. Fear makes you stumble. Faith makes you secure. This is also why the Bible says that faith is the substance things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Our faith is build on the Word of God to show us that every worry, question, doubt, and insecurity fear brings is destroy by the hope we have in Jesus. We see through the Word that Jesus is the Eternal, the Savior, the Redeemer, the Healer, the Provider, the Protector, and the Overcomer. The Word increases our faith. Then, faith drives out fear. So no matter what area fear is attacking you in, faith, through the Word of God, will show that Jesus is able to conquer all things! I do not know where fear has you bonded in. However, I do know Jesus is able to drive that spirit out. Get deeper in the Word and your faith will go into another level. The fear that was tormenting you will release you because the level of faith you have in God's Word. Always remember faith brings conviction on Who God is. Faith will remove any question that fear brings. I pray over your life that every ounce of fear be remove in the name of Jesus! I pray that your faith may increase. I pray that your eyes be open so you can see that God is able to do just what He said He will do. No longer will you operate in fear, but in faith! For the Lord is our light and our salvation! We shall not fear, but have faith in Him.
