Have you ever started reading a book, but then stopped reading it at a certain page? Days, months, or even years go by and you realized that you never finished reading it. The book was interesting, it had a great storyline, however you got caught up with life and you forgot all about it. Until one day, you picked it back up again and realized it was the greatest book you have ever read! You tell yourself why didn’t you finish it sooner? You know, many times we do this to our own lives. We start so inspired, motivated, and encouraged to accomplish our goals and dreams. We understand that we were created for a purpose. That God has placed in our hands a specific assignment. However, in the story of our lives, we stopped at a certain page. We have come across a situation that we least expected. It might have been losing a job and now it’s dealing with financial issues. It might have been getting out of a toxic relationship and now you feel too broken to move on. It might have been getting caught up with everyone else’s demands from you that you lost yourself. Now, you don’t even know who you are anymore and everything is a blur. In situations like these, it can seem like a challenge to continue your story. However, I am here to tell you it’s time to turn the page. I know you feel damaged, confused, and frustrated because life was not supposed to play out like this. But what if I told you that the greatest stories always have the greatest climax. Yes! The most painful, difficult, and dreadful challenge you ever have to face can unfold the most beautiful ending. Moments like these help you to look forward for what the future holds. All you have to do is turn the page. Forget about what happened, who left, and why it didn’t work out. The Bible says in Philippians 1:6,
“being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ”. We have hope because there is a God who already wrote our story! He knows what lies ahead and He is willing to take us there. All we need to do is have the confidence in the author of our story. Trust and believe He is a good Father. He has the best in stored for you. Be encouraged today. Take that the leap of faith. Turn the page. Let your story continue. It’s just getting started.
this season is not my end…. I will turn the page
